Proofreader's Error: What What

Did you notice the proofreader’s error in the above graphic? The proofreader’s error is a sort of mental illusion.

We skip over words that are duplicated in a sentence, especially when one word is at the end of a line and the repetitive word is at the beginning of the next line.

They say: You don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone.

Truth: You knew exactly what what you had; you just thought you’d never lose it.
